Hebbian Inc. announces availability of Hebbian Recall

Hebbian Inc. today announced the release of its debut product – Hebbian Recall, utilizing ranking technology that allows it to improve the relevance of desktop search results by mimicking human memory processes. Hebbian Recall is the first application demonstrating activation based ranking technology. Learning from a user’s day-to-day activities, Hebbian Recall produces results with better relevance without any training or other user intervention.

Hebbian Recall provides easy access to files, folders, documents, e-mails and web history from a single application through two unique lookup functions named Hebbian Search and Hebbian Journal. Hebbian Search simulates a human’s long-term memory recall processes and combines two key technologies: text search and activation based ranking. Hebbian Journal simulates contextual recall and recall from short-term or working memory.

Hebbian Journal provides a view of a user’s activities in the form of daily records and automatically records a user’s access to local document files, e-mails and visited web pages. The result is a heterogeneous search system that is able to deliver more accurate, and relevant searching capabilities to the desktop user. Hebbian Recall is available free for non-commercial and personal use. Commercial customers are required to register and purchase a full license from our website.
