AT&T Appoints Two New Area Retail Sales Managers and Small Business Manager for North Florida Market

AT&T’s wireless unit, formerly Cingular Wireless, has appointed Brian Collins and Todd Maurer to Area Retail Sales Managers and Jimmy Johnson to Area Sales Manager for Small Business for its North Florida market, which includes Central and West Florida as well. Since joining AT&T’s wireless unit in 1996, Collins has managed several of the company’s retail locations in Hillsborough, Hernando, Pasco, and Citrus counties. In his new role, Collins is responsible for the management and performance of seven company-owned stores in Tampa, Sarasota and Bradenton.

Maurer has held several sales leadership roles in the company’s retail and indirect channels, as well as with national retailers such as Circuit City, Best Buy and Staples. In his new position with AT&T’s wireless unit, Maurer is responsible for the management and performance of seven company-owned stores in Fort Myers, Naples, Cape Coral, and Port Charlotte.

Johnson brings 15 years of sales experience in the wireless and retail industries to his new role with AT&T. As the company’s new Area Sales Manager for Small Business, Johnson is responsible for the management and performance of a sales team focused on local businesses throughout the company’s North Florida market.
