Siemens supports Norwegian anti-trust authorities in clarification of alleged collusion in the fire protection sector
Norwegian anti-trust authorities searched the premises of Siemens Building Technologies in Norway on Wednesday. According to information from Siemens, the searches were related to alleged collusion in the fire protection sector. Siemens is intent on clarifying the matter quickly and completely and has assured the authorities of the company’s full support and cooperation.
According to Norway’s anti-trust authorities, member companies of the “NorAlarm” trade organization allegedly engaged in collusion regarding service and maintenance agreements for fire protection systems. In addition to Siemens, three other companies belonging to “NorAlarm” have been searched in connection with the matter. No details are currently available.
