Twin tuner and 80 GB hard disk means you need never miss your favorite programs again
Siemens Home and Office Communication Devices is introducing the Gigaset M475 T, a new DVB-T receiver with a twin tuner and built-in hard disk. Its time-shift function enables users to pause programs and continue watching at a later time, while the electronic program guide (EPG) provides information on current and upcoming shows. The built-in hard disk means you can easily record your favorite programs to be watched at a more convenient time. The Gigaset M475 T is simple to use thanks to its intuitive on-screen display and makes receiving digital TV and radio programs very easy.
With a Gigaset M475 T, users will never again have to choose between two TV programs. The DVB-T receiver has a twin tuner, making it possible to record one program while watching another. There is room for recording up to 40 hours of programs in excellent digital quality on the built-in 80 GB hard disk, so external devices are no longer needed.
In addition to TV and radio programs, the Gigaset M475 T also supplies program information in digital form. The EPG complements a printed TV guide and informs users about current and upcoming TV and radio programs. The overview usually contains a description of the contents, and will, as a minimum, list the title, start time and duration of every program. Programming recordings is also easy thanks to the EPG.
The product’s time-shift function also offers real user benefits. Everyone knows the situation: The phone rings at the most critical point in a TV program. Now, at the click of the Gigaset M475 T’s remote control, users can take their call: the time-shift function records the program and users can resume watching it after ending the call – without missing those all important TV moments.
