Nation’s Largest Auto Show Showcases New Online Presence
Americaneagle.com, a leading Web site design, development, and hosting company based in Park Ridge, IL and the Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA) are proud to announce the fully redesigned and enhanced Web site for the Chicago Auto Show located at www.chicagoautoshow.com. As the nation’s largest auto show, the Chicago Auto Show has turned to Americaneagle.com for the third consecutive year to redesign and develop its online presence.
While the Chicago Auto Show celebrates its 99th edition, 2007 also marks the 8th year that the show has been online. CATA first established the event’s promotional Web site in 1999 and has since coordinated several redevelopments, in accordance with emerging technologies and the rise of Internet popularity. Following online success with Web partner Americaneagle.com for the past 2 years, CATA continues to work the award-winning Web developer Americaneagle.com for the redesign and enhancement for the 2007 show site.
Michael Svanascini, chief operating officer at Americaneagle.com said, “For 2007, ChicagoAutoShow.com was fully revamped in an effort to create an even more exciting and dynamic experience for visitors. Indeed, we worked closely with CATA to improve all facets of the site. By utilizing new technology and drawing on existing market data, we were able to implement several enhancements to the site’s functionality and design that better serve its visitors.”
“ChicagoAutoShow.com has more to offer than you might expect,” notes Mark Bilek, internet director at CATA. Indeed, the new site includes many of the same features visitors have learned to rely on, including a dynamic show floor built in Flash, easy to use navigation, extensive image galleries, and the ability to quickly purchase and print show tickets. But this year, ChicagoAutoShow.com hosts many new features that bring the excitement of the show closer to home. Enhancements to the site include the addition of RSS feeds, blogs, upgraded video streaming, an enhanced media center, additional Web cam views, and more.
