The Bateman Group Announces First Client Wins of 2007; Achieves 34 Percent Growth in 2006

The Bateman Group, an independent technology-focused public relations agency, today announced two new additions to the firm’s expanding client roster of technology companies. CITTIO, Inc. and InQuira, Inc. have both selected The Bateman Group as their PR agency of record, effective immediately. The Bateman Group also today announced 34 percent growth in terms of overall billings for calendar year 2006 over 2005.

For the new clients, ongoing responsibilities will span corporate communications and product awareness programs, including message development; industry analyst relations; business, trade and vertical media relations; thought leadership campaigns; award pursuits; speaker bureaus; customer cultivation and partner PR programs.

CITTIO, Inc. — A Red Herring Top 100 Private Company, San Francisco-based CITTIO provides a network and system monitoring software platform that is automated for today’s complex, constantly changing networks. CITTIO’s primary investors include JK&B Capital of Chicago and Hummer Winblad Venture Partners of San Francisco.

InQuira, Inc. — Headquartered in San Bruno, Calif., InQuira improves the quality of customer interactions with websites and contact centers by providing integrated applications for intelligent search, knowledge management, analytics and user experience. InQuira is venture backed by Partech International, Walden International, Bank of America and Sutter Hill Ventures.
