First-ever Power Architecture Developer Conference to Provide In-depth Technical Training and Demonstrations

This industry’s first-ever vendor-neutral event to focus on technical training and developer networking for a broad set of Power Architecture™ solutions, the Power Architecture™ Developer Conference, will be held in Austin, Texas, September 24 – 25, 2007. Hosted by Power.org™, the open collaborative organization that enables, develops and promotes Power Architecture technology, the inaugural conference, will present the latest technology innovations, ground-breaking demonstrations, and practical design information.

Technical papers from the design engineering community supporting the theme, “Breaking Down Barriers to Innovation,” and that offer advice on the development of Power Architecture solutions will be considered through April 20, 2007. Information and registration details can be found at www.power.org/devcon. “The diverse range of topics, expert presentations, interactive events and exhibits at the inaugural Power Architecture Developer Conference will present exceptional opportunities for the cross-pollination of ideas and for the exchange of the latest technical know-how around Power Architecture technology,” said Michael Paczan, Chairman of the Power.org Technical Committee.

“The Power Architecture community represents one of the most experienced and diverse system design communities in the world. This conference extends our commitment to enhancing the Power Architecture ecosystem and enabling innovative applications,” he continued. The Power Architecture Developer Conference is the only event to showcase the full depth and breadth of the Power Architecture technology across market segments. The conference will provide a forum for a balanced, independent discussion of Power Architecture technology and its applications, designed to inspire ideas and innovation. More than 500 electronics designers, developers, academics and investors will join dozens of solutions vendors for two days of technical sessions, hands-on labs, engaging keynotes and vendor demonstrations.
