Teleperformance gears up to scale India operations

The leading provider of outsourced CRM and contact center services, Teleperformance, has inaugurated its new state-of-the-art facility in India’s emerging software and BPO hub, Gurgaon.

The 150,000 square feet facility, the new home for 800 employees of the company’s India subsidiary, Teleperformance India, was flagged off at Gurgaon by Mr. Dominic Dato, CEO, TeleperformanceUSA Group and Mr. Brent Welch, CEO, Teleperformance USA.

Speaking at the inauguration event, Mr. Dominic Dato, CEO, TeleperformanceUSA Group said: “Teleperformance India ranks among the best outsourced CRM centers of Teleperformance across the globe.

“The committed, 800-strong India talent at Teleperformance India now meets its match in the form of this new ergonomically designed state-of-the-art facility,” Mr. Dato added.

Teleperformance focuses on achieving operational excellence and delivering value-added customer services, including inbound and outbound customer interaction, Interactive Voice Response and Technical Support. The company’s proprietary Customer Contact Management System, has received the 2006 Product of the Year award from Customer Interaction Solutions magazine.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Brent Welch, CEO, Teleperformance USA said, “By serving customers of its global customers, Teleperformance worldwide has grown to about 70000 employees across 42 countries handling over 1 billion customer contacts annually.

“Teleperformance will leverage its three decade long experience to serve and engage with leading Indian customers,” Mr. Welch added.

As part of the launch event, Teleperformance leaders symbolically released a bunch of balloons before taking a tour of the facility.
