Canon’s imageRUNNER Voice Operation Kit Recognized at AFB’s Annual Awards Ceremony

Canon U.S.A., Inc., today announced that the Company has received a 2007 Access Award from the American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) for the Canon imageRUNNER Voice Operation Kit. The AFB Access Award, being presented today to Canon at the AFB Center on Vision Loss in Dallas, honors individuals, corporations and organizations that are eliminating or substantially reducing inequities faced by people who are blind or visually impaired. The award-winning Canon Voice Operation Kit, enables compliance with Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act, allows people with vision loss to use the basic functions of a copy machine, or administer a company’s entire copy room or document production center.
