D-Link North America EVP Keith A. Karlsen Recognized As ‘Top 25 Channel Executives to Watch’

D-Link, the end-to-end networking solutions provider for consumers and business, today was recognized by CMP’s Channel Group’s VARBusiness and GovernmentVAR magazines as one of North America’s top information-technology (IT) vendors in terms of the partnership programs it offers to solution providers that sell its products and services. In certifying D-Link as a Five-Star Partner, the leading publications for IT solutions providers, acknowledges the company’s commitment and strength of its programs for IT integrators, resellers and consultants.

Of the more than 250 vendor-program entries reviewed for the past year, only 60 companies received the coveted Five-Star rating in the magazines’ 13th annual Partner Programs Guide issue. “Nowadays, the structure of vendor channel programs is too often reduced to a checklist of must-have elements. The VARBusiness 5-Star Partner Program honor recognizes those select vendors, like D-Link, who have the programmatic structure to best serve their solution providers in their specific markets segments and technologies. These programs reflect vendors who have built channel programs that have the capacity to execute on key elements for channel success,” says VARBusiness Editor Lawrence M. Walsh.

In addition to this honor, D-Link Systems Inc.’s Executive Vice President Keith A. Karlsen was named one of the “Top 25 Channel Executives to Watch” in 2007 by VARBusiness. The channel is a collaboration between vendors and solution providers, and a good channel executive is one that helps set the business agenda and enables partners for mutual success. VARBusiness recognizes Karlsen as a channel chief that goes above and beyond to ensure that D-Link partners have the support, tools, training and technology to service their customers and grow their businesses.

“Winning the Five-Star certification from both key industry publications is further evidence that we are focused on our partners and their ability to expand revenue potential,” Karlsen said. “We have aggressive expansion plans for the channel and will remain focused on supporting our reseller partners every step of the way.
