Tzero Appoints C. Stephen Cordial as Chief Financial Officer

Tzero Technologies, the leader in ultra wideband (UWB) for video distribution, today announced the appointment of C. Stephen Cordial to the position of chief financial officer. Cordial brings more than 30 years of high-technology financial management experience to Tzero and will play a critical role in the company’s business and financial planning processes, and day-to-day management.

“Cordial’s extensive experience will help cement Tzero’s presence as the leader in ultra wideband for high-definition video distribution,” said Mike Gulett, president and CEO of Tzero. “This market is expanding rapidly and Cordial’s background will help us capitalize on the opportunities ahead. He’s helped build and manage some of the most successful semiconductor companies in Silicon Valley, led multiple initial and secondary public offerings, driven M&A activities and much more. We’re excited to have him as part of Tzero’s executive team.”

Cordial has held the CFO role at no less than six high-technology companies including PMC Sierra, Voysys, Xylan, Nexsi and CallWave. Cordial also served as CFO and interim CEO of publicly-traded Somera Communications, where he returned the company to revenue growth and positive cash flow, and increased market value by 60 percent.

Cordial holds a bachelors degree from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University.

“Tzero’s compelling ultra wideband technology is poised to help shape the future of home entertainment networks, and the company must be ready for a very dynamic period of growth and change,” said Cordial. “I’m extremely excited to be part of the team that will make all this happen.”
