SAMSUNG Announces Distribution Of Its Highly-Anticipated Line Of 1080P DLPâ„¢ HDTVS To Specialty Retailers Nationwide

Samsung, a leader in the DLP revolution, is now taking its award-winning rear-projection HDTV line to the next level with the arrival of its 1080p models at high-end, audio/visual retailers from NATM and the Pro Group. Samsung’s dynamic lineup of large screen 1080p DLPs, which range from 50” to 71”, will be available through specialty retailers including 6th Avenue Electronics, Tweeter, Ultimate Electronics, Magnolia Home Theater within select Best Buy locations and Good Guys. Select models of Samsung’s 1080p line will be on display at the Samsung booth (#393) during CEDIA 2005, September 9-11 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

Samsung’s suite of 1080p DLPs includes its coveted 68-Series, 78-Series and 88-Series. The 68-Series features the 56” HL-R5668W (MSRP $4,199), the 61” HL-R6168W (MSRP of $4,699), and is anchored by the company’s largest DLP TV, the 67” HL-R6768W (MSRP $5,999). Samsung’s 68-Series incorporates a unique floating screen design that separates the screen and bezel from its base to create a stunning visual effect even when the set is off. The cutting-edge Cinema Smooth™Generation 6 1080P HD engine provides the ultimate HDTV experience, and 30 watts of audio deliver a robust sound experience.
