Cisco Canada Announces 2006 Channel Partner Award Winners

Cisco® Canada today announced the winners of its 2006 Channel Partner Awards, presented annually to recognize its channel partners’ exceptional performance in the delivery of Cisco-based services and solutions to customers. Among the winners is Oakville, Ontario’s UNIS LUMIN, which received the Top Services Partner Award for its outstanding performance in the combined U.S. and Canada Theatre. Each of the winners was recognized at the Cisco Partner Summit 2007 taking place this week in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The 11 Canadian honorees were selected from a list of nearly 100 Cisco Certified Channel Partners in Canada for their outstanding performance in 2006 in one of the following categories: Advanced Technology, Security, Wireless, Innovation, Foundation, Enterprise, Public Sector, Commercial, Services, Customer Satisfaction and Unified Communications.

“This year’s Canadian award winners represent a wide range of partners who all have one thing in common: a commitment to delivering the highly specialized solutions our mutual customers are demanding,” said Ross Pellizzari, vice president of channel operations for Cisco Canada. “It is with great pleasure that Cisco Canada recognizes these top achievers for the deep expertise, sales performance and exceptional customer satisfaction demonstrated over the past year.”

The Cisco Channel Partner Awards are distributed annually to the best channel partner in each category in each theatre, as determined by a formalized selection committee composed of Cisco executives. All of the awards are in compliance with the requirements of the Cisco Channel Partner Program, which upholds customer satisfaction as its primary criterion.
