Metzger Associates Promotes Albee to Senior Vice President

Metzger Associates, an integrated strategy and communications firm serving innovative growth companies, has promoted account director and new media practice director Doyle Albee to senior vice president.

In this position, Albee will continue to head up the new media practice, direct a number of Metzger accounts and manage the firm’s operations and personnel.

Albee has a rich background in public relations and marketing communications, with experience ranging from consumer packaged goods to high-tech. He currently manages a number of key accounts for Metzger Associates, including the Dalbey Education Institute, ExpressDigital and Grooveshark. Before merging his successful public relations practice with Metzger Associates in early 2005, Albee held positions with Coors Brewing Company, Maxtor and The Integer Group. He has won numerous PR and marketing awards, including a 2003 Magellan Platinum Award from the League of American Communications Professionals, a Gold Pick Award from the Public Relations Society of America and a Distinguished Communicator Award from the Colorado Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators. Albee holds a degree in Mass Communications from the University of Denver and frequently lectures on public relations at area colleges and universities.
