VM2Go Manages Parallels ‘Virtual Machines’

BriteMac has introduced VM2Go, a utility application for Mac OS X to help you manage “virtual machines” created using Parallels Desktop for Mac. It costs US$14.95.

Parallels Desktop for Mac is one of several software apps that enables you to run Windows software on an Intel Mac. With it, you can run several different versions of Windows and other X86-compatible operating systems on the same machine. VM2Go simplifies the process of loading and maintaining those separate Virtual Machines (VMs) — you can transfer VMs to an iPod, for example, or put them on a USB thumb drive or external hard drive, or back them up to a DVD.

The software is available as a “trialware” download. You can run it 20 times before registering; if you like what you see, it costs $14.95 to register.
