VideoEgg Expands US Media Sales Team with Industry Veterans
VideoEgg, the premier online community video solution, announced that it has expanded its sales force with new hires in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York. Industry veterans Dan Drescher, Brian McFarland and Andrew Yeager join the team for VideoEgg’s ad network, The Eggnetwork. The network provides advertisers with the ability to place ads within online video, allowing them to reach millions of viewers via partnerships with leading online social networks and vertical communities.
Drescher joins The Eggnetwork sales force in VideoEgg’s Los Angeles office. He formerly served as the Entertainment and Spirits manager for Rolling Stone magazine in New York. Also joining VideoEgg from Rolling Stone where he was the technology ad director, McFarland will serve as director of the New York sales office. Yeager, formerly the corporate manager for the Midwest sales office of Hachette Filipacchi, opens VideoEgg’s Midwest office in Chicago.
“Dan, Brian and Andrew are senior, experienced media sales sharp-shooters. Each has spent the last few years packaging magazine and online sales for Fortune 500 advertisers so they understand the big picture and have deep contacts in many levels of the market,” said Michael Hess, VideoEgg vice president, sales. “I’m excited to be able to draw this caliber of talent to VideoEgg’s team. I’m expecting great things from them and know they will be successful on behalf of our growing network.”
With the latest additions to its team, VideoEgg now has offices in six major advertising markets – New York, London, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit and Montreal.
