Oracle’s CRM Suites All Named A Leader in Latest Independent Research Firm’s Sales Force Automation Report

Forrester Research, a leading independent research firm, has recognized all of Oracle’s CRM Suites as “A Leader” in the latest Forrester Wave Evaluation: Sales Force Automation Suites, Q2 April 2007. Sales Force Automation software addresses the business processes tied to revenue generation. According to Forrester, firms of all company sizes are investing in Sales Force Automation software, with 31 percent of large enterprises and 27 percent of SMBs planning investments in 2007.1 In addition, 22 percent of the large enterprise segment that remains unpenetrated offers potential for future spending as firms continue to emphasize driving opportunity and improving customer experiences.2

Forrester evaluated 19 sales force automation vendors across 136 criteria to assess strengths and weaknesses in three areas: current offering, strategy and market presence. Each of Oracle’s CRM SFA suites are recognized as “a leader.” Specifically, Oracle’s Siebel CRM is recognized for providing “best-in-class sales automation features and a highly flexible architecture that organizations can customize to meet specific business needs… Siebel CRM leads the market in vertical specialization, with deep industry-specific functionality incorporated into solutions for financial services; insurance; life sciences; communications; media; energy; and consumer goods.”
