Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications and Blue Tree Wireless Data Announce Global Partnership to Deliver Integrated Solutions

Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications, a leading provider of wireless machine-to-machine technology, announced today an agreement with Blue Tree Wireless Data, a leading developer and manufacturer of wireless modems and software solutions for mobile data and telemetry applications, to develop a successor product for the Sony Ericsson GM28/29 and GT47/48 modems. The resulting product will ensure the market availability of a next-generation terminal device powered by Sony Ericsson cellular technology.

Blue Tree Wireless Data will incorporate Sony Ericsson’s RF technology to develop, manufacture, sell and support this next generation of products bringing customers a total and complete, integrated solution.
